What is prison life like? How can you prepare for success after prison? Questions like these can seem overwhelming in addition to the stress of having other legal matters to resolve. Pretrial Services has created a seminar to help answer some of these questions. The purpose of this seminar is to help reduce the fear and anxiety associated with the sentencing process and the Bureau of Prisons. The program begins with some general information about the Bureau of Prisons, their rules and their facilities. A panel of speakers are then introduced which normally consist of at least one Bureau of Prisons employee, a U.S. Probation Officer, and exoffenders who have served prison sentences.
